Homework
Students should read 20 minutes a day 20 times a month. After they have read a book, they need to write a book report and get a reading log signed. Book reports are due at the end of the month.
Also, there are weekly spelling worksheets. The worksheet is handed out at the beginning of the week and due Friday.
On Fridays, we usually have tests. It could be a spelling, grammar, or benchmark test. If we do have a test, I always have a review day with notes to study on Thursday evenings.
There may be a writing assignment for homework if it was not completed during class time.
